Our Vision
Graystone Academy understands that the integrity and character of all students, parents, professional staff, and positive local community investment will be essential to advancing our school organization's Mission and Vision. The Board of Trustees, School Administration, Professional Teaching Staff and Non-Teaching Staff individually and collectively commit DAILY to:
- Provide an educational environment where all students feel safe, wanted, valued, and successful.
- Provide engaging and inviting classroom environments with clear expectations and rigorous instruction, and many opportunities for individual student social and emotional intelligence and development.
- Promote positive behaviors and healthy interactive attitudes for good character through appropriate skills modeling, skills acquisition, and skills application toward all professional staff and fellow students.
- Create, establish, and maintain a high quality educational and professional working environment that values Diversity and Trust, Respect, and Relationships are guiding principles.
- Clear communication and active collaboration with all students and parents/guardians to enhance and effectively support individual student academic achievement and social and emotional intelligence.
- Collective professional staff actions and intentional strategies to implement and utilize meaningful research-based data to provide a critical thinking teaching and learning environment that will result in more positive student outcomes.
