Fee-Based After School Care

Graystone Academy Charter School offers a fee-based After-School-Care Program that is committed to providing students with various enriching and rewarding experiences. The program has been developed to assist parents in providing their elementary school-age child the opportunity to relax, study and involve themselves in personal interests in a safe environment after school. In this environment, we offer “hands on” opportunities for children to make choices that will enable them to pursue their personal interests, develop friendships, and grow in confidence and respect for themselves and others. The program provides adult supervision and includes time for exercise, homework and activities in a safe and secure environment at the school.
Graystone Academy’s after-school program is a very relaxed, but structured program. The following is a general schedule of activities:

3:30 – 3:45 snack
3:45 – 4:30 recess/art activities
4:30 – 5:00 homework
5:00 – 6:00 library/computer

A popular aspect of the After-School Care Program is the cooking class which is offered at least once a week.
Fees
There is an annual registration fee of $25.00 per year and a weekly fee of $50.00. We also offer a per diem rate of $15.00 per day for parents who need temporary or part-time service.
