TITLE 1 INFORMATION
GraystoneAcademy Title I Program
In addition to a rigorous instructional program in reading, Graystone Academy also offers supplementary reading instruction as part of our Title I program.
The Title I funding also allows the school to reduce class sizes in the Kindergarten Program. The school utilizes instructional assistants to support teachers in the classrooms. In addition to supplemental reading instruction and reduced class sizes, the Title I program also offers the following:
* Parental workshops and meetings on relevant topics in education such
as "How to prepare your child for the PSSA"
* Professional development training for teachers
* Conferences, seminars and workshops for teachers
* Materials and resources for students
Notice of Parental Rights:All parents/guardians of children in Title I schools have the right to request and receive timely information regarding the professional qualifications of their children's classroom teachers from the school.
