Science is taught by teachers in the classrooms while other courses are taken over the internet.
All high school students have thier own lockers and students are located on a differrent floor from the elementary school.

The Graystone Academy Charter Schoolís high school program is designed to challenge and expand students in unique ways. We integrate traditional teaching practices with internet-based curriculums to develop students into self-motivated learners. This approach is designed to prepare students for future educational opportunities.
Curriculum
The curriculum is designed to facilitate critical thinking, social development and interactive learning. Our certified teachers serve as facilitators and mentors, guiding students through the curriculum modules. We employ both direct in classroom instruction and internet resources such as on-line courses, testing, and supplemental course materials.
Classrooms are equipped with the latest computer technology and high-speed interent access.

Extra-Curricular Programs
We encourage students to participate in programs after school and will work with students individually to assist with scheduling. The Coatesville Area School Board allows GACS high school students to particpate in after-school sports programs. In addition, we have several clubs that students are encouraged to join including yearbook, newsletter, scrapbooking and many others.
