We hope you will consider enrolling your child in the full-day kindergarten program at Graystone Academy. We offer a creative learning environment with a rigorous program in reading and writing. In addition, our teacher are just excellent and they have been teaching full day kindergarten for four years already.

Creative Learning Environment
GACS uses a unique trademarked curriculum called PARAGON which integrates art, music, geography, social studies and history in a creative, interactive way. Students participate in a special PARAGON performance every six weeks given for family, friends and fellow students. Students enjoy the dancing, singing, and costumes centered around the current PARAGON theme.

Rigorous Reading and Writing Program
Our special reading and writing curriculum has all of our kindergarteners reading by the second semester. We emphasize phonics, word recognition through memorization and endeavor to instill a love of reading in our students using classroom instructional materials, patience and parental involvement.

Field Trips
GACS hosts from three to five field trips during the kindergarten year. Places visited have included Highland Orchards, Philadelphia Zoo, Herr’s Potato Chip Factory and others.

Special Programs
Throughout the year, students participate in special programs such as dressing up as Princesses and Knights to celebrate the Renaissance Era, Cat-in-the-Hat Reading Day, Kindergarten Bug Show, and Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony. These programs build self-esteem, confidence and togetherness to promote a well-rounded learner.
